Yesterday, Wamiz reported about Daniel Sturridge’s terrible loss. While he was out in the evening of July 8th, the Liverpool superstar’s home was broken into, and his precious Pomeranian pup was stolen.

Sturridge immediately took to social networks to spread the word and ask for help. And it’s clear his desperate pleas have payed off: just last night (Wednesday morning in LA), Sturridge posted a reassuring message on his Instagram profile.
Safe and sound
The footballer announced that he had been reunited with his beloved pet. The pet was being held by someone in South LA, where Sturridge and his friends drove to pick him up.
The circumstances of the Pomeranian’s return are still quite blurry – it is unknown whether the person who returned the dog was also the one who had stolen him. It is also unknown whether a reward was paid, and there is no announcement of an arrest being made.
However, the most important thing is that Lucci is back with his mum and dad – safe and well. The footballer cannot contain his joy:
“Absolutely delighted, I can’t believe it,” he said.
He also took the time to thank those that had helped him in his mission to get his beloved companion back:
“I just want to say a big thank you to everyone on social media who supported us and raised awareness to the case and what was going on. I’m so thankful to all the fans around the world.”
We are so glad Lucci is back with his family – we’re sure he’s got quite a few days of heavy spoiling ahead of him!
