The former Liverpool star is absolutely heartbroken after his Pomeranian, Lucky Lucci, was stolen from his home, which was broken into while he was out. Lucci has the particularity of having Husky-like markings, which makes him quite valuable, but most of all, he is the footballer’s loving pet and best friend.
Urgent plea for help
The front door of the house was smashed into pieces – it is therefore possible that the little dog got frightened and ran off himself. However, as many other items in the house went missing, Sturridge is almost certain Lucci was stolen due to his monetary value.
Since Lucci’s disappearance, Sturridge has flooded his social media with urgent appeals for any information regarding his lost pet. The footballer is offering a theoretically unlimited amount of money to whoever could reunite him with his beloved companion.
“Somebody please find my dog. I’ll pay anything, I’m dead serious. I want my dog back,” he pleads in an Instagram post.
Paws crossed for a safe return
Of course, the response is overwhelming, and many of the footballer’s fans are getting in touch. However well-meaning these people might be, the 29-year-old millionaire is asking for serious information only.
While some reports are saying the dog has been found, there has been no official announcement made as of yet. Wamiz will keep you updated on the latest news concerning poor Lucci!
