Bored with the day-to-day rut of office life? Follow in this office's footsteps and just ask your boss for an office kitten.
Yep, we're totes serious! When a transportation company in Ohia, USA, noticed that their employees were down on their morale, they decided it was time to hire some fresh talent to add a furrr-esh perspective to the team.
Meet Debit and Credit, the world’s most famous office cats!
They’ve got some paw-some skills
This adorable brother and sister kitten duo didn’t just get the job due to their cuteness.
The pair have a wide range of highly valuable skills, such as:
Answering the phones…
Leadership - in cat language, Credit is totes saying “Come on guys! You can do this! Only 1 more day until the weekend!"...
Supervising…
Arm-warming… (an office essential, right?!)
And tidying (evidently, it does take them a little while to do so)!
But don’t fret, the feline staff still have to follow the same rules as their humans - including wearing a name badge at all times.
The only problem is that, like most office employees, these kittens ain't got no time for Mondays!
And they make the purr-fect employees!
The office love their new four-legged employees so much, that they took to Reddit to show them off. After their post blew up, they decided it was only right to make Debit and Credit an Instagram account - which now has over 17,000 followers!
Speaking to Bored Panda, Lotte Spijkerman said: “Pets reduce stress and increase productivity, mainly because they interact with you of their own accord and, when they pop over to your work station, it’s a good reminder that you might need to take a break.”
We couldn’t agree more! There’s nothing like a quick snuggle with an adorable kitty or pooch to lessen the stress of office life - we hope more organisations will follow in their footsteps!
