Donald Trump’s visit definitely didn’t go un-noticed. Many opponents to his beliefs and campaigns united together in London to protest his arrival in the country, and tried their best to make a fool out of him.

But to their great dismay, it was someone else entirely who ended up stealing the show. The Prime-Minister’s cat was even more outspoken when it came to sulking at the Donald’s appearance.
No feline has a more important job
Larry the cat has been living at 10 Downing Street since 2011. He isn’t just making the most of comfortable surroundings, he actually has a very important job. Indeed, Larry the cat is none other than the ‘Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office’. This is a very official job, in fact there’s been a Chief Mouser at Downing Street since Henry the XIII’s reign!
The beautiful tabby cat was adopted from a shelter back when David Cameron was the Prime Minister. Today, Larry is officially Theresa May’s cat, and will soon become the new Prime Minister’s cat, whoever that may be.
Conservative cat takes a stand
Larry has spent most of his working years assisting Prime Ministers of the conservative party, yet, he seems to have a preference for the left. During Donald Trump’s visit, Larry decided to inconvenience the US president’s plans by hiding under his car and refusing to budge.
Journalist Bill Neely shared the breaking news on Twitter:
It took some time before the cat was finally convinced to move. Larry then proceeded to continue performing his duties as normal, as if he hadn’t just created a huge hustle and bustle at one of the world’s largest events.
