Misty and Sawyer are two adorable and affectionate tiger cats looking for a new home, after their owner suddenly died.

Due to the very sad and sudden death of their owner, these 10-year-old Cornish cats need a forever home. They had previously been brought over from France, by their first owner, then settled into their UK home together. Following this unexpected death situation, there is now an urgent appeal for adopters to take care of these friendly felines.

Urgent appeal to find someone to adopt two Cornish cats

Sawyer and Misty are sibling cats who have been together since birth, so would love any would-be adopters to take them together. They obviously need lots of affection and if possible, someone with a garden where they can get outside to explore and exercise. Although they are currently in foster care, Clay County Cat Care in Cornwall are pushing an appeal to get them rehomed as soon as possible.

Can you offer a home to these cute kitties?

The animal shelter in St Austell comments on their recent appeal, that any possible adopters who live near a main road will not be able to care for these outdoor cats. If you are a cat lover and interested in taking Misty and Sawyer, Clay County Cat Care Rescue officers will carry out a home check as part of the adoption process.

Adopting an adult cat may require more complex care than settling in a new kitten, but in the end, the reward of their love and companionship is certainly worth the time and effort.

If you can help or are interested in adopting these Cornish cats, contact Clay County Cat Rescue through their website or Facebook page. You will need to give your contact details and information about your present situation. Find the necessary details here.
