Steven’s dream was always to be his own boss, and to exercise a profession in which he could be outdoors all day. So a year ago, he ditched his job and set up his own dog-walking business – and it looks like he couldn’t have picked a better path for himself!

All of the reviews on Steven’s walks are excellent, and why wouldn’t they be – he tailors each walk to the individual dog, based on their breed, age, and personality. Of course, Steven keeps the owners’ instructions in mind, after all, they do know their dogs best.
“Throughout the day I will take photos and videos and ensure owners know they can contact me at any point. People are entrusting me with their furry babies so I am more than happy to provide as many reassurances as I can. If they want to get in touch with me at any time, that’s fine,” Steven told Edinburgh News.
The best of the best for our four-legged friends
It is probably this closeness both to the dogs and to the owners that has made Steven so popular. So it’s no wonder the Crowne Plaza asked for his help when it came to pampering their clients. Now anyone staying at the hotel in Edinburgh can call upon the hotel’s dog-walking service: Crighton Pet Services!
Tourists visiting Edinburgh won’t have to worry about leaving their pooch behind in the hotel if the museum or castle doesn’t accept dogs -Steven’s got them covered.
To top it off, the hotel is extra dog-friendly. In your room, you’ll find a welcome letter highlighting all the dog-friendly bars, cafes, shops and attractions in the city, and your pampered pooch will even get access to a bowl, a memory-foam bed and a welcome treat!
One thing’s for sure, Edinburgh is next on our bucket-list of places to visit!
