Let’s face it; most people love travelling, but few get the chance to travel the world. So what if we told you that some very lucky felines are travelling the world day by day? Meet the adventure cats of Instagram…
An adorable Bengal kitty who goes by the name of Suki has racked up 1.3m followers by posting photos of her incredible trips around the world.
She’s caught some rays in California, posed in front of German castles, took a boat trip in Alberta, climbed snow-packed mountains and explored more National Parks than we even knew existed.
Speaking to Lonely Planet about their Instagram success, Suki’s owner Marti said: “People enjoy seeing a kitty break the stereotypes that are usually associated with cats. Suki is leash-trained, enjoys car rides, goes camping, hiking and canoeing, loves water, and does just about everything a dog can do. Kitties are capable of a lot more than they have been given credit for!”
We can pretty much guarantee that Cezar has ticked off half your bucket list already… and he’s only 5 years old! Born in Sweden with stunning odd eye colours, he’s now travelled to the likes of France, El Salvador, the Philippines and Malta. Jealous, much?!
Cezar’s cat-loving owner started the page - which is full of wanderlust-inducing kitty snaps - to inspire others to travel with their feline friends. They’ve also been raising money for animal charities around the world - amazing stuff, hey?
It’s a well-known fact that cats hate water. Well, this bold, fearless kitty is completely defying the stereotype and loves nothing more than a refreshing swim in the sea!
Nathan (who, despite the name, is actually a girl) was found abandoned in a box in Queensland on the side of a busy motorway. Poor baby - she was only a few weeks old!
Thankfully, she soon found her loving owners, who, on their website, say that Nathan has a: “super chill personality has enabled us to take her anywhere with us! She’s a peculiar little cat in that she does something very unusual compared to your regular domestic kitty – she loves a swim in the ocean!”
It’s certainly a little surprising watching videos of a cat enjoying a swim and being completely drenched in water… but we absolutely love it!
