Say Hello to Meysi, the World’s Smallest Dog at 3-inches Tall

We all know dogs come in all sorts of colors and sizes, but when you take a look at this small and adorable Terrier, you’d be inclined to think it was a small hamster instead of a dog.

Meysi, who is from Jarocin, Poland, is the same size as a soda can, with a weight of just 0.55 pounds and measurements of 2.75 inches tall and 4.75 inches long.

At birth, the Terrier only weighed a whopping and absolutely minuscule 0.01 pounds. Meysi can definitely be considered one the smallest dogs on the planet.

Her owner Anna Pohl describes her loving pet as a small dog with a very large personality.

“Meysi is not afraid of strangers and is always ready for play. She plays with lots of energy – lots more than is suitable for such a tiny body. She has a typical Terrier’s character and is brave. She is also fleet-footed and fast.”

In an adorable fashion, Meysi fits in just about every household item you could think of. She considers mugs or the insides of shoes her warm and cozy places.

At birth, Meysi’s owner even thought that the pup was just a piece of placenta instead of a living and breathing dog. Luckily, she realized just in time that a tiny dog had been welcomed to the world.

Unfortunately, Meysi’s health situation after birth was critical because her siblings weighed so much more than her, and they prevented the tiny pup from getting milk.

Because she was so small, Anna decided to feed her using a syringe. Three months later, and Meysi was already happily running around again as a strong and playful dog.

Meysi is now part of the happy family with Anna, her husband Tomasz, and their kids Dawid and Angelika.

What an amazing dog!
