He Wouldn’t Leave His Dying Friend’s Side — Then A Hero Came Along And Helped

The faithfulness and affection of this dog got me crying... I was surprised that he did that -- amazing.

Samuel Flores had been cruising by Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery when he spotted something that made him stop over instantly. A dog had been standing next to his dying buddy and it seemed he didn’t want his friend to go through the next life all alone.

Samuel posted a photo of the dogs on Facebook, asking for help to get there. Fortunately, Julie Fennell, a local animal lover and supporter, was close by and leaped into action.

Sticking with his friend who had been hit by a vehicle, this faithful dog pulled him off the road away from additional harm.

The dog barked at Fennell to stay away when she approached. But when he realized she was there to help, he sat down and gave her his paw.

Fennell got both dogs into her car and took them to Dallas Animal Services. He did this to thank her.
