This is a hybrid of several fluffy breeds like the Chow Chow and the Samoyed. It was genetically impossible that they weren’t big fluffy dogs. Overall, a Keeshond is a big ball of multicolour fluff. This large amount of hair requires a lot of brushing. Fortunately, this dog only sheds his undercoat twice a year. These are very big fluffy dogs! On top of that, they are Chinese! People in China referred to them as Songshi Quan which when translated into English literally means ‘puffy-lion dog’. Chows are extremely puffy because they have a double coat that is very thick, especially around their mane. Another very distinctive thing is that they have blue tongues.

They are famous for their dapper beard, hence the nickname. Once you see a Collie, you won’t forget him. In short, they look magnificent. Like with Collies, they need daily brushing to preserve their massive fluff.

However, it only takes a look at his dog to start believing that he will bring you luck! Their coat is so big and fluffy that they also need daily brushing. Some owners can’t handle this volume of hair and they tend to cut it shorter at the groomers.
