We want to introduce you to Bruno a stunning and beautiful male Spanish Mastin cross puppy of 18 months of age. He is currently in Northern Spain and came into our care some time ago, having been found abandoned with his sister Mars, and is now ready to find her forever home.

He is timid on first meeting new people, but as soon as he knows you, he becomes very affectionate and loves attention from his people. He is calmer and slightly more reserved than his sister, and we feel he could happily share his space with another dog who could teach him the ropes in a new home.

Bruno is submissive around other dogs, and obedient. He has also been tested with cats and is ok around them if they are also used to dogs. Bruno needs a caring, patient family, who will allow him the time to come out of his shell and learn about life in a home environment... We don't know if he's ever experienced this before, so patience will be needed to teach him and help him grow into a balanced adult dog. He will most likely need help with his manners at home, lead walking, housetraining and time to adjust to new people and noises.

Bruno is, at 40+kg, already a big boy and will probably keep growing. People who know the breed know how loyal and wonderful big softies they are, but also how independent and stubborn they can be. That’s why the education and training of these dogs can sometimes become challenging. Therefore we are looking for a home that is familiar with this breed or used to have big sized dog at home. We feel an adult only home, or one with teenage children who are experienced and confident around big dogs would be best.

One thing we do know for sure, is that whoever takes on our big baby Bruno will not be disappointed... He will repay in cuddles, devotion and love. Bruno is used to having space to run and move around and play with other dogs, so we feel a family with a fully fenced garden, ideally in the countryside, would be the best option for him. He is spayed, vaccinated, was tested negative for Mediterranean diseases and is more than ready to travel from Spain to his new home in Wales or England (NOT Scotland) as soon as the right family that opens the doors of their home comes forward. If you feel you are the right match for Bruno and would like him to become part of your family, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
