🐾 Meet Sherry: The Loving Cuddle Bug Ready for Her Forever Home!🐾
⭐️ADOPTIVE HOME WANTED⭐️
🐶Name: Sherry
🕰️Age: 4 years old
📏Size: Medium
💖Gender: Female
📍Location: Durham
🐕Are you searching for a delightful companion who will shower you with love and joy? Look no further than Sherry, a sweet and affectionate 4-year-old female who weighs a delightful 13.5 kg and is medium-sized. Sherry is a beautiful girl with a heart as big as her playful spirit, and she can't wait to find a family to call her own!
💕In the time that Sherry has been with with her fosterer she has transformed from a timid pup into a lovable cuddle bug, radiating warmth and affection. She adores cuddling and is blossoming in her confidence, showcasing her playful side more and more each day. It’s been incredible to witness her learn to play with toys, and her heartwarming attempts at fetching balls are nothing short of adorable!
💘Sherry is friendly towards both dogs and people, making her a wonderful companion at home and on walks. She is also wonderful with children and has a lovely, gentle nature. Her recall skills are improving nicely, especially since she’s motivated by tasty treats! Plus, you won’t be able to resist her joyful dance whenever she’s excited—Sherry truly knows how to express her happiness! Whether she’s doing little front-leg dances when she sits for a treat or joyfully dashing about during her newfound zoomies, she’s bound to bring a smile to your face.
🎾Although Sherry is still finding her footing—quite literally, as she sometimes lacks spatial awareness and bumps into her furry housemates—she’s learning to navigate her surroundings. It's endearing to watch her excitement as she bravely tackled the stairs for the first time, dancing all the way up and back down! While she’s becoming more independent, she still seeks companionship; for now, she prefers to have company when outdoors and is slowly getting the hang of things with the help of some gentle encouragement.
💫Sherry’s inquisitive nature means she sometimes stands on her back legs to explore countertops and tables, but with a little training and consistent “no,” she’s making great strides in understanding appropriate boundaries. Occasionally, she’ll bark at people wearing hats during walks, but this is just her way of expressing curiosity!
🦮One of Sherry’s favorite things in life? Cuddles and giving you gentle licks as you share sweet moments together! She has proven to be well-behaved on a short lead and enjoys a bit more freedom on a long lead, albeit with some playful pulling here and there.
🎾Despite her energetic nature, Sherry is very versatile—she would thrive in an active family home where she can explore and play to her heart's content, but she would also adapt well to a quieter environment where she can feel safe and loved. Sherry has lived harmoniously with two other dogs and is friendly with all dogs she meets on her adventures. But she isn’t cat tested so would be best in a cat free home. There’s no trace of aggression in this loving girl—just pure, unfiltered joy!
🩺Sherry is a healthy girl, she is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed, spayed, brucellosis & 4DX tested
