Honey: female dog to adopt

Honey originally came to Last Chance from the Welsh pound so we had no history for her. She has since been rehomed twice, but recently been brought back to New Romney due to her owner being unable to walk her. Due to this Honey is now very overweight and is needing to lose a good few pounds! Honey is a super sweet girl who, although can be shy with new people, once she knows you she is fine. Honey is untested with cats, she seems to meet other dogs on walks ok, but can put her brakes on whilst on walks so will need human who understands she may need a bit of coaxing to walk, she is however, once outdoors, interested in being out and about. Regular walks and reduced calorie food will be necessary for this pretty girl to get back to her optimum weight range. As we do not have full history for Honey we think she would prefer a home with no children, that is not too hectic/noisy and where she can have a regular routine with reward based training, but with low calorie treats only!! Honey will need regular grooming of her lovely coat, which she enjoys.
