Noosuay is a gentle and timid six-year-old (estimated DOB 30/08/2015) mixed-breed girl who was rescued from neglect and currently lives at the Soi Dog Foundation shelter in Phuket, Thailand.

"Noosuay" means "Miss Beautiful" in Thai, and she certainly is beautiful, both inside and out. You can watch a video of her here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZpvBAP9IRQ

Noosuay was rushed to the shelter in late 2020 by a member of Soi Dog staff who saw her shaking and salivating on the floor on their way to work. It's suspected that she'd either been bitten by a snake or her food had been deliberately poisoned – both shocking ordeals for any dog to face.

Most shocking of all, though, is that Noosuay had an owner who failed to seek help when she fell ill. If someone hadn't passed by and seen Noosuay in distress, she would have died.

Noosuay isn’t the kind of dog to dwell on her past though. She’s got her sights set firmly on the future and all the exciting things that await her there, like a bed to curl up in, a family to bond with and quiet routes to explore on leisurely walks. A shy and wary girl by nature, it will take her time to relax enough to enjoy those things, but with some love and support, she'll get there.

If there ever was a dog who deserves to know the safety of a home and the true love of a family, it’s Noosuay, so please enquire today.
